The Virtual Medicine Conference, held March 27-28, 2019 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, brought together 400 medical and technical professionals to examine the value of xR in medicine. There were 30 presentations and 21 exhibits.

Healthcare applications that were discussed included surgical training, psychotherapy for adults and children, PTSD treatment, phobia desensitization, physical rehabilitation, and virtual coaching.
